The key tasks for the post holder are to provide leadership presence on the ward, both clinical and managerial. To lead and ensure staff adhere to and provide safe assessments and a range of nursing, social and psychological interventions that is based on good practice so that high patient care is always maintained.
Candidate should have sound skills and competencies in line with the job description, person specification, and knowledge and skills framework. To be able to manage the team effectively and running of the ward ensuring the highest possible standards of nursing care are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of the trust.
