Senior Theatre Support Worker - Band 3

We are looking to employ a Theatre Support Worker to join our busy unit in Orpington Theatres. The primary role of this post is focused on the circulatory role of the theatre support worker in supporting the perioperative team. The role will also include the transportation of patients between wards or departments to theatres and recovery. It is a physically demanding role requiring considerable manual handling of patients and their beds / trolleys. The theatre support worker will also be responsible for cleaning and re-stocking of theatres pre, intra and post operatively. In addition, the theatre support workers will be responsible for ensuring all relevant equipment necessary for the surgical procedure is at hand. Assist with surgical positioning and assist the registered nurse with the various roles involved when circulating for different surgical procedures. Please apply via link below
