Head of Nursing - Adult Medicine
Hospital Nursing
Information
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Head of Nursing in the recently formed care group of Adult Medicine which cover the four main sites that are part of the Princess Royal University Hospital and South Sites. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality and efficient in and outpatient pathways associated with these speciality areas. There is an ambitious vision to implement a nationally recognised multi-disciplinary Acute Frailty Service aligned to the One Bromley Integrated Frailty Service to improve patient experience and outcomes in our growing and ageing population. Our Stroke service is one of eight specialist stroke centres across London delivering a thrombolysis service, a rapid assessment TIA service and rehabilitation care to optimise our patient’s recovery. The Palliative Care service aims to achieve the best quality of life for both patients and their families through a multi-disciplinary approach to care. The team includes consultants, CNS’s and psychosocial workers who deliver a specialist advisory service whilst actively participating in teaching and research.
Whilst we offer all the benefits of a London Trust we have the best of both worlds. Our location in Bromley provides a leafy suburban environment just a stone’s throw from central London with great transport links to get you there and also to the coast, opening up opportunities to travel to Europe. This is why the area is favoured by families and those seeking a balanced life in the capital.
This really is a great place to work for career minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference. We do hope that you strongly consider coming to work here and are more than happy to further discuss the opportunity to thrive at the PRUH and South Sites.
