Our ALM is an in-service fiber monitoring solution that gives operators real-time insight into the quality of their fiber infrastructure. In the event of abnormal attenuation, fiber breaks or a tapping attempt, the user is immediately notified and given the exact geographic location of the event via the ADVA Ensemble Fiber Director or third-party GIS. With our ALM, operators can avoid unsuccessful repair attempts, prevent outages and enhance customer experience. Furthermore, with a compact footprint, low power consumption and self-calibration capabilities, it doesn’t require any regular maintenance and can be deployed in indoor and outdoor locations.
