Deep Ecology

NIH Residency

Information

Deep Ecology is an immersive exhibition project that explores the paradoxical connection between technology & ecology, in the face of the climate crisis challenge.

Deep Ecology is a first person narrative that follows the protagonist’s inner journey through the dual nature of technology, exploring its capacity to both harm and heal our planet.

As the protagonist wrestles with conflicting emotions, he-she embarks on a quest to understand the profound practical and philosophical effects of our technological infrastructure & its relation to climate change.

The main character stands at the forefront of a new generation facing the ultimate challenge: to reimagine and reshape their relationship with technology, transforming it from a force of ecological destruction into a beacon of hope for the future. Like a cyber mind, he-she is navigating all across the globe through the different layers of the planetary technological infrastructure.
