[FR] Cette exposition (fruit de notre résidence avec le Digital Lab Africa) raconte des histoires africaines d’une manière totalement nouvelle. À travers une série d'entretiens avec des Sud-Africain·es, Xabiso Vili, en collaboration avec Sonwabo Valashiya, cherche à incarner dans le monde physique une dimension spirituelle. Grâce à la réalité augmentée, leurs récits sont enrichis, illustrés par ceux de leurs ancêtres, déclamés sous forme de poésies.
[EN] If you were an ancestor, what would your descendants call upon you for? Through a series of interviews with various South Africans, Xabiso Vili, in collaboration with Sonwabo Valashiya, brings the spiritual plane into the physical space. Utilising AR, the interviewees are illustrated as their ancestors and their stories are told through poetry. This AR exhibition (fruit of our Africa-France XR Residency with the Digital Lab Africa) tells African stories in a way that they have never been seen before.
