Imagine a world in the shape of a long horizontal strip, swept by destructive winds that always blow in the same direction, from upstream to downstream. In this brutal world, humanity struggles to survive, but there is hope, for it is said that whoever discovers the origin of the winds will be able to control them and calm them down. With each generation, humanity selects an elite troop, trained from childhood to face the violence of the gusts. They are the Horde of Counterwind and their mission is to march against the wind for their entire lives, in search of the legendary Upper reaches. 33 generations of Hordes have already tried their luck, and we follow the journey of the 34th Horde, who are the fastest of all time, the one who might just reach the origin of the winds, the Upper reaches.
