MAKROPOL is an award-winning studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark, working in the intersection of cinema, technology, live performance and installation. They are the leading production-house for immersive storytelling with a long track-record in VR and XR. The studio is lead by producers Mads Damsbo and Mikkel Skov with a team of talented co-producers, developers and creatives. The works of MAKROPOL have been exhibited, screened, and featured at festivals, galleries, and venues all over the world. Among these are Venice Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, CPH:DOX, IDFA Doclab, Luxembourg City Film Festival, New York Film Festival, London Film Festival, Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Copenhagen Contemporary, Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Gl. Strand and Google Lab in Paris to mention a few.
