Dev-Ops Engineer, Cloud Computing

For this position, it is not a requirement to bring Security specific background. Instead, we are looking for someone who is hungry about learning on this topic. This individual will be part of our growing security team, and will report to our Head of Security Engineering. You will actively participate in the buildout of our cloud security infrastructure, leveraging ASAPP’s people and technology for maximum benefit, and eventually your focus will shift to architecture and design review of systems integrating with and the health and maintenance of these various AI infrastructure security components. What you'll need DevOps engineering experience (Cloud Security is a plus) Deep understanding of cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure and its API’s Strong knowledge of UNIX based operating systems. Familiar with container ecosystems (docker, k8s, helm), and security best practices. Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (Python preferred) Experience writing Terraform code. Experience designing and documenting cloud security solutions architecture Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
