Responding to LGBTQ+ Challenges

During the winter and spring of 2021-2022, the public libraries in Connecticut's Farmington Valley faced a wave of challenges to LGBTQ+ materials, particularly the book Gender Queer. Panelists will discuss their experiences, how their libraries responded, and how to support staff, particularly LGBTQ+ staff, through these challenges.
