Those High School Memories - A Community Yearbook Donation Drive

High School yearbooks were a high-request item at the Springfield City Library, but our collection was tiny and random. We asked our community to help us build a yearbook collection entirely from donations, with the goal of putting them online via Digital Commonwealth. Heartfelt stories, Springfield treasures, and lessons abounded as we accepted their generous gifts and grew the collection. Then we tackled the tricky part - cataloging and digitization! Come learn about what worked for us when we made a Big Ask, and how our community (and library colleagues) came through.
