American Friends of Kenya

American Friends of Kenya (AFK) is a CT-based 501(c)3 organization that supports libraries and schools in Kenya. We raise funds to send one annual 40' container full of carefully curated books (mostly library discards), library supplies/furniture and school supplies to our partner organizations in Kenya. At NELA, our fundraising activities center around selling Fair Trade items - with 100% of the purchase price going toward AFK's library and shipment activities.
