Accessible Music Education in the Digital Age: Building Scalable Learning Paths for Visually Impaired Students
Information
This presentation showcases "Simțim Muzica", an inclusive music education project by Asociația Magia Artelor in Romania that provides blind and visually impaired students with structured piano and music theory training through accessible, audio-based, and tactile tools. Building on this foundation, the next phase, "Note fără Bariere", aims to create a digital platform equivalent to eight years of classical piano education, tailored to diverse accessibility needs.
The project advances scalable, inclusive learning models that merge pedagogy, technology, and culture, while seeking interdisciplinary partnerships to expand its reach, evaluate its impact, and adapt its methodology across musical disciplines and global contexts.
