Climateurope/Climateurope 2Climateurope is a managed network of climate research and climate service activities and organisations. This network coordinates and supports Europe’s knowledge base to enable better management of climate-related risks and opportunities, thereby creating greater social and economic value. A first phase of this action was run from 2016 – 2021.
Building on the network created by Climateurope, the Climateurope 2 project starting in 2022, will develop future equitable and quality-assured climate services for all sectors of the society. This will be done by:
Developing standardization procedures for climate services, including good practices and guidelines as well as criteria for certification and labelling
Supporting a diverse European climate services community through the organisation of a large variety of activities
Enhancing the uptake of quality-assured climate services to support adaptation and mitigation to climate change and variability
