Faced with the challenge of decarbonising construction, materials are reinventing themselves. Leonard and Hello Tomorrow are joining forces to explore this promising area of decarbonisation.

At this second event, we will be looking more specifically at the remarkable properties of new construction materials.

Introductory keynote :

Presentation of the second part of the report: "The Future of Sustainable Construction: Innovation Materials" by Marwan Aitomar and Alizée Blanchin (Hello Tomorrow)

Round table discussion:

Caroline Thaler, CEO of Bloomineral, is currently in residence with the deeptech studio venture Marble to successfully take her biomineralization research from the lab to the market.

Olivia Page, co-founder and CEO of Mykor, a start-up that was a finalist in the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge 2022 in the "Sustainable Construction and Infrastructure" category, wants to transform cellulose and mushroom waste into building materials.

Timothée Boitouzet, founder and CEO of Woodoo, a multi-award-winning start-up, recently raised €31 million to adapt its augmented wood technology to the challenges of the construction industry.

Armelle Langlois is head of sustainable performance at VINCI Construction and is exploring the use of bio-sourced materials in building structures.

Concluding keynote :
