Efendioglu Marble: a new slab processing line setup with the GMM patented EXCHANGER OF SLAB HOLDER BEDS

Efendioglu Marble was established in 1967, in Trabzon with purpose of becoming a supplier for local marble workshops and producers. In time, the company has grown larger and it moved to Istanbul in 1974 and later to Orhangazi/Bursa in 1990 which is still its headquarters today. Efendiog˘lu Marble is not just a supplier of the domestic market all over Turkey, but also exports more than 50 countries all around the world such as USA, Russia, Mexico, Argentina, Chili, Japan. The company, as one of the leading producers in Turkey insists upon processing marble with care it deserves. Thus, Efendiog˘lu factory equipped with finest machineries operated by capable and experienced personals. Efendiog˘lu Marble and Gmm Spa thanks to unmatchable support of Set Makina have started their cooperation in earlier 2011 with the first monoblock Brio machine, two years later the cooperation followed with the installation of another Brio and one Egil CN machines. In July 2017, the increased cutting demand moved the companies to develop an advanced cutting line with loading/unloading system; the Intra CN2 with the patented EXCHANGER OF SLAB HOLDER BEDS. This automatic cutting machine for high production is equipped with interchangeable table loading system with external tilting facility in order to load slab vertically; the peculiarity of the system is that the slabs picture can be taken offline on the outside area while the machine continues the cutting operation. Tool wear control and slab thickness reader and granting the correction of the slabs thickness variation while accurate and fast cutting is secured thanks to brushless motors and linear bearing guides.
