Since 1999, we’ve been manufacturing ground source heat pumps in Cornwall and installing them all over the country, transforming how people heat and cool their homes and businesses. Our pioneering networked heat pump solutions deliver the cheapest, cleanest way to heat millions of homes and businesses, and even whole towns, all while minimising the impact on the electricity grid. That’s why Kensa is now responsible for half the ground source installations every year.
By 2040, up to 8,000 homes a week could be connecting to these heat networks, eliminating 17Mt of CO2 a year, equivalent to that of over half of all UK flights. Installing these networks will attract over £100 billion investment, creating tens of thousands of jobs. In leading the networked heat pump sector, Kensa will expand to install 50,000 heat pumps a year and employ 1,500 directly and a further 6,000 in its supply chains. Our vision is to bring green, low-cost heating to every home, and we’re already seeing our approach being adopted globally. It’s time to leave high bills and higher emissions behind.
