Day 2 | Local energy planning and mapping

Day 2 | Local energy planning and mapping

Panel discussion

Information

Local energy planning is a critical enabler of decarbonisation by helping to transform local energy systems in support of net zero carbon commitments, and deliver a greener and fairer system for consumers. This session will consider a range of issues, from energy regulation, partners within the supply chain, engaging stakeholders, and how to make consistent use of the available date. We’ll also consider the nascent local energy markets (LEMs) - How is the technology developing? How can we get the procurement processes in place? Will this model eventually become mainstream?
