Purpose of the job:
· Perform tests to control the specifications and the performance of packaging and draft equipment following weekly test plans in the packaging laboratory
· Perform analyses on products from different suppliers to compare the results and provide results for benchmark studies
· Control the correct setup of laboratory equipment and test setups to guarantee reliable test results
· Report the test data and results with high quality and on time to allow project teams make packaging development conclusions
Requirements:
· Preferably graduate degree in relevant applied science, engineering or laboratory discipline (packaging development, material sciences, etc...)
· Fluency in English, other language skills constitute an additional asset
· Advanced computer skills, knowledge of standard software programs (Word, Excel, ...) and statistical analysis
· Previous professional experience in the area of packaging or raw material (glass, polymer, fiber, metal, cooling … ) is an asset
· Able to work with test procedures and equipment utilized to perform tests
· Result-oriented with respect for quality and timing, attention to detail
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Good interpersonal and team skills
