Operation Head Pest & Disease Control

Within BASF Seeds and Traits R&D, the operational unit Trait Testing is situated within the Trait Research organization. Trait Testing is responsible to grow agricultural crops plants in controlled environment settings and to evaluate these plants for their trait performance. Trait Testing also performs seed production to allow progeny plants to be evaluated in greenhouse and field. For the research department Trait Research, in our R&D Innovation Center in Gent (Belgium), we are looking for an inspiring Head of Trait Testing to lead all activities conducted within the Trait Testing operational unit. This position will require substantial resource management skill and technical knowledge of plant growth conditions.
