Within BASF Seeds and Traits R&D, Pest Control teams identify and validate trait solutions to protect agriculture crops against damage from insect and nematode species. Disease Control teams identify and validate trait solutions that protect crops against damage caused by microbes and viruses. For the Indication Area Pest & Disease Control within Trait Research, in our R&D Innovation Center in Gent (Belgium), we are looking for an inspiring Indication Head to understand and help shape strategic business priorities for Pest and Disease Control in key crops. This position will additionally be responsible for managing a research project portfolio to achieve technical proof of success in greenhouse and field. It’s one of the largest R&D sites within the Seeds group and employs about 400 employees from 20 different countries.
