Business Development Manager

Function ◾ You develop unique selling propositions in the field of analytical services with a focus on biologics using your knowledge of the (European) biopharmaceutical market. ◾ You maintain active relationships with clients and prospects to ensure sales outcome. This includes analytical packages, pricing, regulatory requirements and timing based on close interaction with the customer and internal stakeholders. ◾ You report to the Managing Director of AnaBioTec and work with internal stakeholders to design solutions in line with customer needs. ◾ You represent AnaBioTec at international industry events, workshops and conferences. ◾ You negotiate with prospect/ customers to close sales deals. ◾ You have scientific and technological insights in biopharmaceutical development. ◾ You define strategic partnerships in accordance with our value proposition to broaden the analytical solutions offered to the customers. Profile ◾ PhD (e.g. analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry, bioengineering) or equivalent by experience. Preferably 3-5 years of experience in R&D Pharma or Biotech with a focus on biologics. ◾ Experience in a Business Development role in life sciences ◾ You display scientific curiosity and you like to work in matrix organization and dynamic environment ◾ Communication and collaboration skills are an asset. ◾ You are flexible and work independent but at the same you are a team player. ◾ You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is an extra asset.
