(Senior) Research Associate (small molecules)

https://ric-biologics.com/join-us/ Responsibilities Development and application of innovative chromatographic and mass spectrometric methodologies In-depth analysis, identification, characterization and quantification of small molecules (active pharmaceutical ingredients, metabolites, …) in various matrices (buffers, biological fluids, tissue, cells, …) Involved in a variety of projects with industrial (mainly biotech and pharma) and academic partners. Design experiments together with supervisor Plan and execute the work at experiment/task level Work according to specific instructions Document and analyze the data and write scientifically sound reports Your profile Good knowledge of basic chemistry Experience with HPLC and/or mass spectrometry is a definite plus Passionate to work in the laboratory Critical mindset and good sense for initiative and attention to quality and detail Team player, customer-minded, problem solving mentality and flexible attitude Well organized and managing daily activities independently Capable of multitasking in an environment with changing priorities Eager to broaden expertise in the fascinating field of analytical chemistry Good communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken) BSc or MSc in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmacy or equivalent qualification due to experience For Research Associate, a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an analytical lab environment For Senior Research Associate, at least 5 years’ experience in the field during which you have obtained extensive theoretical knowledge & practical know-how in HPLC analysis and/or mass spectrometry Our offer You will be part of a privately-owned and ambitious laboratory organization at the forefront of scientific evolutions You will join a dynamic team in an international environment You will receive an attractive salary in line with your responsibilities and experience
