The ideal candidate will have a 2-3 years experience in construction management/contracting, or design management environment. He/she will participate in two constructions projects at Amgen Breda. It concerns a refurbishment of one of the offices and a new build of a production facility. Currently we are setting up a project team to coordinate these projects from owners perspective. Role The role will involve assisting a Senior Project Manager in the delivery of his/her projects. The candidate will have an opportunity to assist in all phases of projects, planning, design, procurement and into construction and delivery. There will be at meetings with internal clients (stakeholders) design teams and contractors. • Degree in engineering, architecture, construction/project management or related field • 2-3 years relevant industry experience Skills • Project Management • Construction Management • Engineering/Architecture • Good communication skills • Problem-solving Duties • Ensuring project stages are delivered in compliance with targets and • Assisting Project Managers with daily project organization / operations • Dealing with the appointment of Contractors • Assisting in management of project delivery • Assisting with quality, schedule and budget • Managing the communications with all stakeholders, sub-contractors • Management of project documentation / drawings • Ensuring contractors follow safety rules • Assist the project manager in managing all contractual requirements including on-site project management • Ensuring Health & Safety strategy is implemented • On-going reporting progress of projects • Standing in for the Project Manager from time to time at various meetings • Coordinate meeting with key stakeholders • Manage information flow • Plan for potential delays, update and review project scope, take part in design updates
