Your Role:
The Public-Private Project Manager facilitates the creation and management of multi-stakeholder partnerships and/or projects in Life Sciences. Such initiatives typically require international collaboration between different partners, including pharmaceutical industry, SMEs, academia, hospitals and other public organizations. Moreover, they are often externally funded (e.g., via H2020, IMI, AIO, NIH, BARDA, …), raising additional specific requirements in terms of management and reporting.
The Public-Private Project Manager helps aligning and engaging the different stakeholders, and drive the project together in close cooperation with the customer Project Leader/Consortium Leader using effective communication and processes.
Your Profile:
• PhD/Postdoc Degree in Science (Bio Engineering, Biomedical, Chemical, Biology…) or Master complemented by relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience working in collaborative and international environments
• Interest to understand the bigger scientific picture and keep the helicopter view
• Planning, analytical, prioritizing and organizing abilities
• Able to work international and with virtual teams
• Proactive and stress resistant team player
• Extra skills: meeting and workshop facilitation, mediation, conflict management, diplomacy
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills is a must
• Previous experience in life science industry is a strong plus
• Demonstrated project Management experience – a certification is a plus
• Grant Management experience is a plus
