Introduction - HPC in Asia-Pacific

As Chair of the Invited Program stream, HPC in Asia-Pacific, Mr Stickells will provide introductory comments and reflections before introducing invited speakers to present talks from across the region, including China, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. This session will explore the evolving landscape of national High-Performance Computing (HPC) programs, spotlighting successes and challenges in planning, resourcing, and collaboration. Presenters will also be invited to share insights into the role of cross-sector and international collaboration, workforce development, and emerging directions for HPC—aligned to the ISC25 conference theme - Connecting the Dots.
