Making NFS work for HPC

In this demo, Sven Breuner, Field CTO International at VAST Data, will showcase VAST’s full scale-out architecture as he takes viewers on a journey through the infrastructure company’s revolutionary NFS multipathing access technology, NFS-over-RDMA support and intuitive and insightful UI, and explain how he believes their combined capabilities help overcome some the pitfalls of NFS in HPC.

Throughout this session, Sven will dive into how these features enable parallel communication across multiple servers, allow for big data and cloud-native applications to be used in workflows with classic file-based applications, and how teams can harness granular insights–such as the state of the system, the load generated and by whom, and where capacity is being wasted–to fine-tune their HPC environments.
