Do SMEs need predictive maintenance? Yes, suction systems (e.g., in chemical SMEs) are usually not monitored systems, though these have important for the continuity of the production processes and for the worker safety. Smart PlantOne is a vertical solution (IoT devices, gateway, platform, dashboard and APIs) that allows the monitoring of predictive maintenance (PdM) parameters (i.e., vibration and temperature) and aims at the democratisation of PdM (to small-medium sized machineries and for SMEs assets). We have also introduced added value sensors for the monitoring of the effect of malfunctioning, for example monitoring harmful gases or particles not collected by suction systems. In the image below we have shown an explicative example regarding galvanisation plant, where the role of suction system is essential to suck harmful and mortal gases, to maintain the workers security. Finally, NGS has the expertise of realising IoT solutions from the field toward the cloud having developed 2 verticals in the Industry 4.0 domain (smart factory& predictive maintenance and Smart logistics). We have proprietary devices and software components and expertise on implementing new applications in the following domains: embedded systems, IoT communication, Cloud platform and applications, portals, and dashboards.
