SCPTime is a startup, and a subsidiary of GORGY TIMING (France) with over 45 years of expertise in Time/frequency.
SCPTime® technology (Secure, Certified, Precise and Traceable Time) consists of setting up an infrastructure and a service to broadcast the country’s legal UTC time to the largest number of users, in the form of TaaS (Time as a Service).
Today IoT networks rely mostly on GPS or NTP Pool for a timing signal, which are highly vulnerable.
SCPTime® allows the users to access official UTC time to secure the synchronization of IoT networks and the timestamping of data (ex: to synchronize IoT gateways to ensure the reliability of data from sensor fusion…), thereby improving cybersecurity, interoperability in use cases such as Smart City.
