Information
Ellona was born from two observations:
1> we can only improve what we can measure: we must therefore start by obtaining reliable and meaningful data/measurements
2> Measured data is only "smart" (smart city, smart car, smart building ...) if it is acting and for this, the data must be intelligent, that is to say, capable of interpreting events, context and situations, not just measuring them: this is "situational intelligence".
Our mission is to make the invisible visible, by measuring in real time gases, particles, but also noise, light or vibration, and by providing this data to citizens, employees and customers (the 3Cs). But our challenge is above all to make these data actionable in order to allow to remedy in real time these different nuisances and pollution, and to make the concerned spaces healthier and safer.
To do this, we are inspired by the way men and women perceive their environment using their five senses (sight, smell, hearing, ...). ELLONA digitizes the human senses through miniaturized sensors and AI algorithms. We build data banks (gases and odors, noises and sounds, particles and allergens, etc.) that allow us to develop situational intelligence solutions to better contextualize events and therefore better remedy them. This makes it possible to differentiate between the sound of a jackhammer and the noise of a car accident (smart city), or to identify in real time that the toilets in a building are dirty (smart building), or to realize that an industrial process is drifting (smart industry).
Through our different solutions and product lines, we provide this intelligent data to all kinds of actors who will be able to act concretely on their environment:
- For outdoor environments, with industrial or waste treatment sites, port or airport authorities, urban communities, in order to better protect employees and neighbors, better manage their public transport or traffic lights and measure their decarbonization efforts.
- For indoor environments, mainly for facility managers who manage catering, workspaces, or hospitals, to improve the well-being and health of occupants.
