Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP) is a leading supplier of high-grade magnetite iron ore products to the global steel industry, supplying over 15 million tonnes annually of iron ore and pellets. With more than 100 years of mining history, CMP is recognized as one of the few large-scale producers globally of premium magnetite pellet feed products for blast furnace and direct reduction steelmaking routes.

CMP’s operations are located across the mining valleys of Copiapó, Huasco, and Elqui in northern Chile, supporting the production of a diversified portfolio of magnetite products, including DR-grade pellet feed, BF-grade pellet feed, sinter feed, and pellets. Through its focus on magnetite products, CMP supports more efficient steelmaking routes and the transition toward lower-emission steel production.

CMP operates a fully integrated value chain across three independent operations, encompassing mining, processing, logistics, and port infrastructure.
