Passengers’ emotional relationship with the airport space has taken a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic. With so many obstacles to travel, the passenger, having undergone the stress of booking, researching their travel requirements and completing the additional paperwork now required, unsurprisingly wants their airport experience to be smooth and efficient as soon as they arrive, with time to spare to relax and buy a coffee in the departures lounge.
