Shimadzu has launched the AIRsight infrared Raman microscope, the world’s only known microscope that allows both infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy in one instrument. The presentation will cover key points of AIRsight unique Dual functionality and describe the advantages of applying infrared and Raman microscopy in multiple applications such as analysis of trace contaminants or research into microplastics. The operational efficiency of combining these two technologies to acquire same position spectra will be further discussed.
