TasPortsAs an island state, Tasmania is reliant upon shipping, port infrastructure and port operations to sustain our communities and our economy. Each year 99% of the State’s freight moves through TasPorts’ multi-port network. TasPorts is the state-owned company responsible for eleven Tasmanian ports and the Devonport Airport. TasPorts is also the owner of Bass Island Line (BIL) and provides a safe and reliable shipping service for the King Island community.
