Rutter Inc., headquartered in St. John’s, Canada is a developer of leading-edge radar signal processing technologies for the marine safety, security, and environmental monitoring and protection industries, since 1998.
In 2012, Rutter acquired OceanWaveS GmbH of Lüneburg, Germany, a recognized industry leader in the development and supply of radar-based wave and surface current measurement technology with our WaMoS® II system.
Rutter sigma S6 signal processing, recording, and playback capabilities integrate with navigational or dedicated X-band radar assets to provide enhanced situational awareness that promote safety and efficiency in a variety of situations.

Rutter’s newest addition to the sigma S6 product suite is Current MonitorTM. Current MonitorTM is a revolutionary radar image processing system designed to work with most standard, onboard marine radar to monitor ocean surface current and bathymetry in high-definition.
