Thursday, October 14 at 5:30pm to 7:00pm Dr. O. Ernesto Valiente, Associate Professor of Systemic Theology, Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, revisits the life and ministry of Archbishop Romero 40 years after he was shot and killed as he celebrated Mass in a hospital in San Salvador. The presentation enlists the most recent research to examine the prophetic ministry and liberating legacy of the Salvadoran martyr, who was canonized in October 2018.
