Founded in 1996, the Daniel Maghen Gallery is a space entirely dedicated to historical and contemporary comics and illustration, located in the heart of Paris, rue du Louvre. Its walls house the largest permanent collection in Europe, with almost 20,000 original works of art by over 300 different artists. Galerie Daniel Maghen presents the work of the most talented traditional artists such as Frédéric Pillot, Alex Alice, Didier Graffet, Daniel Cacouault, Julien Delval, Paul & Gaëtan Brizzi, Kim Jung Gi, Daria Schmitt, Armel Gaulme, Julie Mellan, Stan Manoukian... Around ten exhibitions are displayed here each year, to the delight of artists, comic fans and other graphic arts lovers, who regularly attend openings, signings, performances and other events organized throughout the year.
