In anticipation of the transition to a low CO2 economy, PLASTIC OMNIUM has developed solutions for high pressure hydrogen storage and fuel cell systems. By combining safety oriented, and high quality automotive development and production processes with cutting edge technology and an existing global manufacturing footprint, the company is ready to offer precision, cost effective solutions to OEM’s and vehicle integrators across a range from passenger cars and trucks, up to applications for class 8 long haul trucks. We have certified 350 and 700bar storage systems and are currently working to increase our portfolio of tank designs to be able to minimize development time and cost, including low profile tank systems for mounting under the vehicle floor. We also have fuel cell systems ranging from 50 to 450kw in the pipeline as the market requires. Our goal is to not just react to the hydrogen economy but to help drive it forward through strong investment and industry collaboration.
