How can we reduce the burden of clinical documentation and improve EPR adoption?

The workshop will discuss the impact of electronic patient record systems on clinician’s admin burden. It will also explore strategies to reduce the admin burden.

Join Dr Simon Wallace, CCIO at Nuance Communications, and a select group of NHS clinicians and clinical informatics specialists from across the country to:

• Explore the findings of an independent research study into the challenges NHS clinicians are facing with their clinical notes and documentation
• Discuss strategies to reduce the effort and time required to record health information in EPR systems for clinicians
• Explore case studies of how others are tackling this challenge head-on, and speech-enabling their EPR to free up time in their working day
