ByYourSide® is a FREE cancer support app and website developed and funded by Pfizer Inc. in the United Kingdom (UK). ByYourSide supports all people living with cancer and their supporters in the UK regardless of tumour type or stage of disease by helping individuals to manage their health, wellness, and everyday life.

ByYourSide® was launched in the UK in 2019 and the global brand is available in 12 markets to date. The ByYourSide® website has a wealth of articles which aim to inspire, offer support, and help people live well with cancer. The programme also has patient case studies, a cancer-related fatigue module including an interactive ‘goal setting’ activity as well as links to supporting organisations, charities, and patient groups.

The ByYourSide® App is designed to help people living with cancer take control of their health, wellness, and day to day life. The App has many tools to support people living with cancer, some examples include the ability to track pain, sleep, mood, fatigue and a medication manager tool.

The ByYourSide® App has been certified by the Organisation of Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA), a global independent organisation used by national bodies, healthcare providers and digital health innovators in twelve countries including the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. The app has an overall score of 88% and domain scores of 81% for data and privacy, 80% for usability and accessibility and 95% for professional assurance. ByYourSide® is the top scoring cancer app on the ORCHA Library to date.

The ByYourSide® programme content and features have been co-developed with experts, healthcare professionals and patients. We will continue to do so to ensure relevant content with new personalisation and connectivity features.
