Hormones POCT - PRL Immunoassay Test Kit

Information

The Optical Q™ PRL diagnostic test is a proprietary point-of-care (POCT) fluorescence immunoassay (FIA) designed for prompt and accurate in-vitro quantitative measurement of Prolactin. Prolactin (PRL), also known as lactotropin, is a protein best known for its role in enabling females to produce milk. While prolactin is secreted from the anterior pituitary gland in both men and women, women have slightly higher basal level of prolactin than men due to an estrogen-related rise at puberty and a corresponding decrease at menopause. During pregnancy, prolactin level increases progressively to 10 and 20 times of normal value, declining to non-pregnant levels by 3-4 weeks post-partum. The Optical Q™ Prolactin reagent test is helpful in diagnosing hypothalamic-pituitary disorders. TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS -- Approved by CE (IVD) -- Rapid and quantitative immunoassay -- High performance of CV < 10% -- Assay time of 15 minutes -- 25 Tests/Kit
0ptiBio Co., Ltd.OptiBio is a South Korean in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) company focused in researching, developing, and manufacturing cutting edge fluorescence immunoassay (FIA) solutions. In 2020, OptiBio was selected by a research fund sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation for its unique and dedicated approach to immunoassay. OptiBio's competitive advantage stems from its strong foundation of experts, each specialized in fields crucial for product development. Our R&D is divided into 3 different teams of scientists and engineers dedicated to the independent development of diagnostic markers, test kits, and analyzers.  Our fundamental approach to in-house specialization allows OptiBio to constantly improve our product performance, customize our solutions based on client feedback, develop new test parameters, and respond to changing market needs. Shortly following the outbreak of Covid-19, for example, OptiBio quicky developed, without any outsourcing, the Optical Q SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody (nAb) test kit and Rapid Q SARS-CoV-2 Antigen (Ag) rapid test kit.  OptiBio will continue to create, improve, and innovate world class diagnostic solutions in the field of fluorescence immunoassay and point-of-care testing (POCT). Through this, we aim to ultimately transform medical diagnosis into a universally available right.  --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optical Q, OptiBio's proprietary fluorescence immunoassay analyzer brand, currently features 25 test parameters.
