Good Days also leads Chronic Disease Day. Chronic Disease Day (CD Day) was established in 2014 with a focus on promoting healthy communities and addressing the escalating crisis of chronic illness.

Chronic Disease Day is a 365 day a year movement but is annually recognized on July 10th (7/10). It is recognized on this day to raise awareness that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are due to chronic diseases - most of them preventable. Our goal is to not only lower the number of deaths each year but also reduce the number of preventable chronic diseases advocacy, awareness, and education.

Good Days in partnership with more than two dozen national patient advocacy organizations hosts live and virtual events featuring legislators, advocates and changemakers focused on chronic disease prevention and treatment, engage public supporters through virtual events and social media campaigns, advocate for Congressional funding for disease prevention and health promotion, and educate policymakers about legislative opportunities to enhance care access, reduce preventable diseases, and achieve broader healthcare equity.
