Defra’s Offshore Wind Enabling Actions Team was established in 2020 with the aim on ensuring we could meet our offshore wind ambitions and net zero targets as well as protecting and enhancing the marine environment. The team is responsible for delivering the Offshore Wind Environmental Improvement Package from the British Energy Security Strategy.
