Tagline: Enabling the visually impaired to navigate their surroundings safely
About Carlos Mosquera's project:
It’s difficult for visually impaired people to find specific locations as apps using satellite location services can’t provide such detailed data. Our solution works by sending inaudible impulses to smartphones through small speakers. This allows the user to access information on their precise location to help them navigate with ease.
The reason Carlos Mosquera is passionate about his project:
I’ve seen a close friend through years losing her sight slowly. She moved to Paris by herself and It’s been difficult for her to do the basic chores especially during Covid19. Solving this issue for her and the community will be a step forward for everyone.
Carlos Mosquera's mentor: Chis Odu from Nigeria
