Nanomation

Nanomation is a semiconductor software start-up from the University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering.

Its patented technology makes it possible for the industry to manufacture with nanomaterials, paving the way for faster, more powerful and more efficient chips with quantum, photonic and optical properties that are not possible using silicon alone.

Nanomation offers an innovative three-part software solution: a location system optimised for nanoscale applications, a computer vision system to detect nanoscale features and automated circuit routing. Taken together, these features enable radically faster nanomaterial usage within microelectronics, as well as substrate defect detection possibilities, quantum sensor applications and possibilities for scaling quantum hardware.

The company's product is aimed at three intersecting markets: the semiconductor industry, the advanced sensor industry (including those making quantum sensors) and the quantum computing industry.
