ANGOKA is a cybersecurity company that provides solutions for securing the digital infrastructure for Smart and Connected systems. Headquartered in Belfast, UK, with offices in London and The Hague, ANGOKA has patented technology for the identity management and access control of Machine-to Machine (M2M) communication.
The company operates in a number of verticals such as Smart Mobility (Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and Drones), Critical National Infrastructure, Defence, and Space. Quantum security is an important part of the company’s product offering, particularly in those sectors where a high data assurance is required or where data and asset lifetimes are on the order of a decade.
ANGOKA has developed a unique ‘Symmetric QKD Hybrid’ solution that complements Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) to provide the ‘last mile’ key exchange to end-point devices such as mobile phones, laptops and servers over wireless data links such as WiFi and 5G, that goes beyond the optical edge and therefore has reach of QKD.
This technology has the potential to become a major enabler for QKD technology and an essential component in the quantum-secure communications infrastructure of the future.
