AXA Emerging Customers aims at protecting the low to mass income population across the world as the risks they face can make them fall back into poverty.
Their incomes are often too high to qualify for the limited social protection that exist for the poorest in their countries, but hey have not yet reached the level that would give them access to traditional private insurance. Many are part of the informal economy, and, as self-employed workers or owners of a micro, small or medium sized enterprise, they do not enjoy employee benefits.
We develop insurance as a source of empowerment enabling them to move forward faster, and as an inclusive business model in practice.
