Pepe Jeans1249In 1973, three Nitin Shah brothers, Arun Shah and Milan Shah, opened a small "jeanery" on the Portobello Road market in West London to sell their creations. The Shah brothers were so successful that by 1975 they had four shops throughout the London capital1. The rapid growth of their new company, PEPE (UK) Ltd. enabled them to open a shop on Kings Road as well as a workshop and offices. The company Pepe Jeans was then taken over by the Spaniard Vicente Castellano in 1989.
