The Obreros Project: Storytelling, Faith, and the Dignity of Labor
Information
Faith isn’t just lived in the sanctuary. It’s lived in the struggle and success of daily work. The Obreros Project bridges this gap between the pulpit and the workplace through world-class, bilingual storytelling. First, we are a strategic initiative that trains a new generation of Hispanic filmmakers to document the sacred nature of work. Second, we promote a selfless vision for our communities that leads to personal wholeness and a deeper vocational calling. By producing stories of toil and labor, we reveal Christ’s presence in diverse workplaces, essential services, and Hispanic leadership. This is a unique opportunity for us to learn together and expand our cultural literacy, diversify our curriculum, and amplify the essential voices of our beloved Hispanic community. Join us in integrating the meaning of family, faith and film to empower our neighbors to live out their calling.
