The National Copernicus User Forum (UFN) is the core of the Italian User Uptake Strategies, constituted in December 2014 (EU Regulation 377/2014, nowadays Reg. EU 696/2021), to support an Inter-ministerial Working Group aimed to identify a number of programmatic initiatives to maximize the national returns of operational services offered by the Copernicus Programme.
The event launching the National User Forum was a Copernicus National Workshop (27 June 2014), aimed to analyze the National and European state of-the-art of the Copernicus Programme as a whole, with a focus on the Italian effective user needs.
